Winter is the season for picnic. That's why our society secretary decided to go for a picnic near to kolkata. Finally the spot is chooses by me. "Shantiniketan" the birth place of the great man of literature Rabindranath Tagore.
We packed our baggage and finally went out at a Sunday morning. Our bus left from Kolkata Station area. After traveling 1 hour by bus the nature suddenly changes it's form. Though there was more 20kms left to reach Shantiniketan but the environment was very much interesting and pleasant. Lots of trees, cold fresh breeze, sunshine , the perfect mixture of nature to make your mood fresh and romantic.
Finally we reached shantiniketan and decided to take rest for half an hour. After doing breakfast i just put my handycam on my bag and went out for discovering Shantiniketan.
